What better way to start the new year than with Super Sam and Spot racing into the night to stop some evil criminal matermind... or maybe just get a hot cup of coffee. The first scene of a demo that I have been working on from time to time and hope to have finished by the end of the year.

Dangerous Man

From Sketch to Final, one of my favorite things to post. This one is of Dangerous Man waiting backstage for who or what we may never know. Dangerous Man is a collaberation with the multi tallented Frank Linkoff who is also the voice of DM as well as all the other characters.

Here are some new designs for a pitch for PBS. Do you notice anything missing? They are pretty much outline free. It's a neat and bold way to work and it looks great for Pre School.

Frederator Awards

Here's another image from the Frederator Awards Program. This one features one of my favorite settings: the coffee shop. Drawn in pencil and then finished in Illustrator with inspiration from my japanesse book on Tin Toy Robots.

Guache Painting

This painting is called "Waiting", guache on illustration board. Actually saw this doggy waiting patiently for its owner outside of a local deli. I changed it to a Cafe because the panting looked more cafe than deli.

Mighty Plush Dolls are here! I've always wanted to try making softies and I've finally taken the plunge. The Bunny on the left is for the Chinese Year of the Rabbit. On the right is Buster Bear who has seen his share of trouble but always manages to have a smile on his face.

Holiday Card Designs

Finishing the year with two designs for Holidays cards. The Santa was produced as a silk screen by hand. Black, red and white are a terrific combination. The deer on top was an alternate idea... maybe next year...
