This paiting is called "Thrift Store Sally" becuase that's where we met this doggy in the East Village. I think she was a poodle mix and her real sweater was red but I changed it to pink because I already I had a dog wearing a red sweater (see February).

September 2009

Finally got a chance to do some new dog paintings at the end of summer. This dog is named Prince. His owner surprise me when she said "Look, Prince, it's Oppa's daddy!" This surprised me because Oppa's wasn't with me at the time and that's like rocognzing one of your kid's teachers when you see them walking on the street.

Here's a scene desined for Frederator's award program. The theme was robots and NYC. I took my inspiration from a Japanese book of tin robot toys.

Exquisite Corpse is a game where you devide a piece of paper into thirds, and then one person draws the head and then another the torso and the last the legs. It's a fun game to play when you're waiting for your food in a restaurant with family or friends.

I saw this guy walk by and he really did have tear tracks under his eyes which is why I called the piece "Tears of a Clown"

Here's Abe lincoln kicking butt Odd Job style. He's one of the leaders of DFP (Dead Famous People). They come back from the dead whenever there's some evil master mind trying to take advantage of people and step on their Bill of Rights.

Here's one of my first dog paintings done with guache on illustration board.It's called Small Dog Red Sweater. I originally drew him with a lesh but decided to leave it out.

This is the logo I designed for my You Tube page. Albumation is a place where you can find some new stuff and old favorites with new things being added all the time. I based the design on a Greetings from Asbury Park post card. I plan to do a series based on various post card images.
